Ronald Wayne Moore III, MBA

Ronald Moore is the President and CEO of Support Services Solutions Partners, LLC.

Ron earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his Master’s in Business Administration from Union University in Jackson, TN.  Ron has over two decades of progressive healthcare leadership experience providing contractual, financial, operational and regulatory oversight for numerous healthcare organization’s support services departments nationwide.

Ron has served in various operational leadership positions and consulting assignments, at individual hospitals as well as in regional roles of responsibility.  His operational experience within the healthcare industry includes environmental services, linen/laundry, patient transportation, patient throughput, inbound call centers, clinical bed management, and durable medical equipment management.  Ron has been featured for his work on local news segments and has worked on projects that have been featured in leading healthcare publications and at national healthcare conferences.  He has won numerous national awards for his accomplishments in healthcare and has held multiple professional certifications during his career thus far.

Ron’s experiences have allowed him unique opportunities to help guide various healthcare organizations during natural disasters, both in real time and during post-disaster recovery efforts.  He has helped manage rapid facility expansion projects in order to increase patient capacity during times of diversion and census crisis.  Subsequently, Ron also received certification from FEMA in “Healthcare Leadership for Mass Casualty Incidents”.

Ron has a knack for aligning labor needs to parallel facility demands.  During his career, Ron has executed significant operational cost reduction strategies while maintaining minimal service interruption impacts for his clients.  He has experience in successfully implementing new industry technologies, systems and strategies to hardwire process improvements.  He has evaluated and aligned departmental resources to improve productivity within numerous healthcare systems.

Ron’s skill sets and career experiences have given him the expertise necessary to lead SSSP and provide our clients with world-class healthcare consulting services.

Chase Giboney, BS

Chase Giboney is the Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Support Services Solutions Partners, LLC.

Chase earned his Bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island where he is also currently a MBA candidate.  Chase has over 14 years of progressive professional experience in the healthcare industry, managing both support services departments in large academic medical systems as well as primary care clinics.

Chase has successfully managed multi-million dollar support services budgets at leading academic healthcare institutions.  His passion for people, and his focus on training, has led his teams to 200% increases in employee satisfaction as well as the lowest annual paid safety claims in the team’s recorded history.

Chase has experience effectually deploying strategic initiatives for sustained patient experience scores increases.  He has managed process improvement initiatives where his team achieved 400% service response time reductions!  Chase also has experience with effectively executing cost-cutting techniques, having reduced operating budgets by over one million dollars annually without reductions in service levels.

In addition to his work in the support services sector, Chase has also managed clinical operations within the primary care clinic environment as an Executive Director and a Regional Vice President, where he led teams to numerous successes during his tenure.

Lawrence Manion, MBA, CMA

Larry Manion is the Principal Consultant for Finance and Accounting with Support Services Solutions Partners, LLC.

Larry graduated Magna cum Laude with his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Detroit and with his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.  Larry is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Larry has over four decades of global experience as an experienced financial executive working in the telecommunications, steel, chemical, energy, commercial waste, industrial tool, and healthcare industries.  He has extensive experience with developing annual operating plans and providing hands-on financial management in the areas of finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, business analysis, contractual compliance, supply chain and inventory management.

Larry has successfully executed fiduciary responsibilities for many organizations, in positions such as Corporate Controller, Division Controller and Senior Managing Director during his career.  He has maintained successful financial oversight for large healthcare support services contracts with annual operating budgets of $35M.

Larry has also served as a Senior Business Consultant, utilizing the Theory of Constraints and other management tools to turn around failing operations within small and medium-sized businesses.  As a Senior Director of Service Management & Governance, Larry was responsible for performance improvements and contract negotiations, saving that organization $20M.  He is also a Sarbanes-Oxley subject matter expert.

Larry’s experiences as having served across multiple business industries within strategic positions has given him the “hands on” experience necessary for SSSP to succeed in meeting our client’s needs.

Joshua K. Schaffzin, MD, PhD

Josh Schaffzin is the Principal Consultant for Infection Prevention & Control (IP&C) with Support Services Solutions Partners, LLC.

Josh received his bachelors in chemistry at Washington University in St Louis. He obtained his PhD in molecular genetics and microbiology and his MD degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed a pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC).

After Residency, Josh went to work in public health first for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, then for the New York State Department of Health. During his time in public health, he oversaw healthcare-associated outbreaks throughout New York City and New York State. He was the lead for infection control when the 2009 H1N1 pandemic hit.

Josh then returned to Cincinnati where he was a pediatric hospitalist and conducted systems-based implementation research to prevent surgical site infections. He then completed his infectious diseases fellowship and became an infectious diseases specialist. Josh directed the CCHMC infection prevention & control program, overseeing all hospital activities at two facilities and numerous neighborhood locations. He served as both an institutional and community leader during the COVID pandemic, where he was able to engage his public health, infectious diseases, and operational expertise. Josh then left Cincinnati and is now an infectious diseases physician at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, Canada. He supports the infection prevention & control program for environment of care and construction issues, and is building a research program to prevent healthcare-associated infections.

Josh brings more than 2 decades of experience in clinical medicine, infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, public health, and molecular science to SSSP. He is uniquely positioned to understand in depth different aspects of infection prevention and control and the science behind it. He has received local and national recognition for his excellence in teaching, service and operations, and infection prevention leadership.
